The Band

Built upon a rich legacy of deep grooves and sweaty dancefloors, EXTRA THICK is the evolution of Afrobeat from the Pacific Northwest. 6 (and a half) of the original 8 members of Cascadia ’10 and decided to regroup and become double in size… to become extra… to become thick… they decided to become… EXTRA THICK!

The Music

Drawing from West African influences such as Fela Kuti, Ebo Taylor, and Tony Allen, this 11-piece Afrobeat dance marathon tour de force hails from Seattle featuring members of Cascadia ’10, Marmalade, Eldridge Gravy, Shady Bottom, TSUBAKI, Kissing Potion, Battlestar Kalakala, and Soul Senate.
